Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have questions about the youni app? Then you've come to the right place! In our FAQs you will find answers to everything you want to know. Whether it's about features, benefits or how to use it - we'll be happy to help you.
Just take a look and discover how the app can make your everyday university life easier.
The youni calendar can only show you dates from UGO, Moodle and m:USI.
If you also have courses at another university as part of your degree programme (e.g. at TU, KUG, PH), these will not appear in the youni calendar. The app currently only has access to data from the University of Graz.
You can find your badges in the user menu:
- Tap on your profile picture at the top left.
- The second menu item is "My badges".
Now you can see which badges you have already been awarded during your studies and which ones you are still missing. There are also a few hidden badges that you may discover yourself over time...
If you like the badges, or if you have suggestions for further badges, please send us your feedback.
You can identify yourself with the student card in youni at the University of Graz and the surrounding restaurants. For example, for exams or in a restaurant for the student discount.
As soo as you pay your tuition fee, the validity of the student card in youni gets extended.
Please note: The student card in youni is not a legally valid document.
You will find your key in your wallet.
This unlocks electronically secured doors for which you have access authorisation. This works in exactly the same way as with your card. Incidentally, the access authorisations are issued by the respective institution.
The key works with BLE (Bluetooth). With older Android versions, the location must also be activated on the smartphone.
You can find additional access authorisations in UGO. For some areas, you can simply request new authorisations yourself. However, the prerequisite for this is (currently still) an issued Uni Graz Card.
Please note: the electronically secured lockers (e.g. Main Library) are not yet compatible.
youni is the official app of the University of Graz, specially developed for students.
The app was designed based on the wishes, suggestions and feedback of students. The name "youni" was created in a workshop with students, and the features were developed together in hackathons and feedback rounds.
youni is not backed by an external company, but by the university's own team of developers. We work closely with various teams and areas of the university to make the most important services easily and centrally accessible for students.
